Lerosett Acne Mask Review
People looking for skin care products that will help clear up their acne want the products to do what the product promises to do. There are many acne products out there that make all kinds of great promises but fail to live up to those promises. Lerosett Acne mask by Gunilla of Sweden is one such acne product that makes unbelievable statements but can they live up to their claims?
What Is Lerosett Acne Mask?
Lerosett acne mask is a special treated clay mask that is supposed to help clear up acne. Some of the statements this product makes are as follows.
- That this is an all natural product that contains no chemicals
- That they have a 97% success rate for clearing acne
- That there are clinical studies proving the effectiveness of this product
- That 100% success rate in blind placebo studies using 400 people with normal to severe acne.
Those are some big claims and if true that would make Lerosett a miracle cure for acne but, let's examine their claims one by and see if this product is as effective as it claims to be.
Contains No Chemicals
Lerosett claims that their product is all natural and contains no chemicals. Indeed this product does seem to be all natural. It is clay after all. However, the claim that Lerosett acne mask contains no chemicals is false as this product contains zinc. While zinc may indeed be natural in clay it is still a chemical and for the company to state that their product contains no chemicals seems a wee bit dishonest. However, giving them the benefit of the doubt one can assume that they meant it contained no added chemicals.
97% Success Rate For Clearing Acne
Unlike the "no chemical claim" which one could chalk up to error. Gunilla's claim that their product has a 97% rate for clearing up acne should be based on actual data. The site however, shows no data for backing up this claim. Looking at the review ratings for Lerosett in this country, this product seems to consistently rate between 3.5 and 3.9 out of 5 stars. This means that less than 75% of the people who have used Lerosett's acne mask t find it helped their acne at all.
Clinical Studies
The Lerosett site claims that there are clinical studies to back up their claims, yet offers no links or even excerpts of these so called studies for customers to view. This makes one wonder if these studies actually exist.
100% effective in 400 Participants With Normal to Severe Acne
This means that the site is claiming that Lerosett completely rid 400 participants of their acne. One must ask if this figure is true how many participants were in the study and how many had less than 100% of their acne cleared and how many found the product not effective at all.
Conclusion
While Lerosett clay mask may help clear acne in some people, it is not nearly as effective as it would have you believe. The dishonesty in the claims of this acne mask makes one wonder just how trustworthy and effective this product actually is. It is recommended that you try a product that is more likely to live up to it's promises than this product is capable of doing.
