Acnexus Acne Treatment Review
Price: $59.95
Ingredients: Below Average
Consumer Rating:

Acnexus claims to be the most affordable, convenient, and effective acne treatment in the world! That’s a pretty strong claim, but is it true? This treatment involves only an all-natural, one-step process that supposedly heals and prevents breakouts. Can only ONE product do all that? Basically, it works like a facial scrub. You apply the cream to your cleaned face, rub it in for 30 seconds, rinse it off, and pat dry. This is done twice a day.
Acnexus Ingredients
Acnexus contains 27 ingredients! In ONE product! This leads us to believe that the concentration of each would be so miniscule that they would be rendered completely ineffective. None of the acne-fighting ingredients listed have been certified by the FDA as being effective treatments for acne. The ingredients used are all-natural, but no scientific data is provided to prove why any of them are adequate, much less the most “effective acne treatment in the world.”
Here are a few of the ingredients included Acnexus—White Willow bark, Gotu Kola, Alfalfa, Chaparral, Bergamot Oil, and Patchouli Oil. It is not known whether any of these products have been adequately tested for acne-fighting properties.
Positives of Acnexus
- Simply put, there aren’t many. White Willow bark is considered to be the natural version of Salicylic acid, which is known for having anti-acne properties. But it is doubtful that the natural product is as effective.
- Users do report that after washing their face with this product, it does leave their skin feeling soft and smooth (and oil-free) for a period of time, but whether that will affect their acne or not remains to be seen.
Negatives of Acnexus
- First of all, there is no scientific research posted for any of the ingredients used in the Acnexus acne treatment. The company has many glowing testimonials, but they lack real names, so the validity of them is immediately called into question. They claim to be the most affordable acne treatment on the market, yet one bottle costs $30, which is much higher than most over-the-counter treatments, especially considering that the ingredients are all-natural.
- The picture they show of Acnexus on their website is not realistic according to size. It is actually a 9 oz. bottle, which is rather small for $30. For a professional website, they contain a number of spelling and grammatical errors. A website is a direct reflection of a company. In this case, false advertising and unprofessionalism seem to speak volumes.
- We tried to do some research on the company that manufactures Acnexus, but we couldn't seem to find any contact information on their web site. They don't list the official name of their company, and they don't list an address or any type of contact information. It gives us an immediate red flag when no contact information is listed on a "public" web site that's trying to sell an acne treatment.
Acnexus Review Conclusion
Perhaps this product would be better marketed as a soothing facial scrub instead of an acne treatment. There seems to be no evidence that it will effectively treat your acne at all. And we cannot help but be concerned at any company who makes such high claims, but has nothing to back them up. Bottom line: We can't recommend Acnexus acne treatment to any of our visitors.
