SensiClear – Real Results or Paid Hype?
When I first heard of SensiClear, I was a little disgusted by the way it’s advertised. Tons of celebrities and sensational sounding claims abound in their commercials. The web site has a huge photo of Janice Dickinson, a supermodel, trying to look very seductive and holding her jacket open to reveal a “barely there” satin shirt. I couldn’t help but wonder if they were selling an acne treatment or a mail-order bride.
Basically I couldn’t find any information on how SensiClear will work from their web site. Every link I clicked led to another commercialized video with people assuring me in dramatic tones that my life would improve a hundredfold if I used SensiClear. My “scam radar” kept blipping in the background.
SensiClear contains its own patented acne fighting ingredient called Retextra, or so they say. When I looked at the products’ ingredient list Retextra is not listed in anywhere. Where is it? You’ve got me! The active ingredient that was listed was the very common salicylic acid.
Looking around at other sites, I saw people calling SensiClear the “K-Mart version of Proactiv” and a “cheap imitation.” Some people said that the ingredients could be very harsh on the skin and cause dry, peeling, red skin. For all my searching, I could not find a single personal review of SensiClear. I found no one who said, “I used it and this is what I think.” The only reviews are the “testimonials,” which were undoubtedly paid for, on the SensiClear web site. Even those come from models and beauty queens. Where are the real people like me? I guess they’re all staying away from SensiClear, which is what I plan to do too.
Instead of the latest hyped up product with a multi-million dollar advertising budget, I’ll be using Exposed acne treatment which was developed by dermatologists, naturopaths and chemists. Exposed is used successfully by real people and they don’t try to hype things up to convince you to buy. Instead they offer a simple three-step system that contains, among other things, benzoyl peroxide, AHA, BHA, tea tree oil, and jojoba. Exposed combines pharmaceuticals with natural plant-based additives to provide the best of both worlds.
They guarantee you’ll see positive results within 30 days or they’ll refund your money. That guarantee is good for a full year so you don’t have to rush trying to decide if it works. I’ll go with what the real people are using instead of what the models are being paid to advertise. No thanks, SensiClear.
